Founded in 1975 by Terry Lynn Jacoby, TLJ Financial Management was launched organically when Terry’s associates in the entertainment business began asking her for help with their financial matters.

Terry saw firsthand how even the most successful of her clients could get stuck professionally when they were worried about their money. So she built a strong team of account managers and business advisors with the resources and expertise to organize every aspect of their financial lives.
In Terry’s honor,
the TLJ team carries on
the traditions and values she instilled.
After Terry’s untimely passing in 2009, leadership of the firm was seamlessly taken over by her husband CFP Marc Jacoby at the request of the clients and as an homage to Terry.
Her Senior Account Manager Alex Caballero, who worked closely alongside Terry for 15 years, became a partner now alongside Marc, and with continued growth, they moved the company to its current Wilshire Blvd headquarters in 2011.
